"Welcome back," Meiko said icily. "I'll prepare some dinner."
^The Next Day^
"Children!" Kaito announced. "We shall go back into the forest again! Mother Meiko requests some nuts for tonight's dinner!"
Len flinched. Last night, he was going to slip out and gather more pebbles in the nighttime, but someone (*cough cough Meiko* ...sorry. I choked on my cookie.) locked all the doors and windows.
"Here are some sandwiches for you, just in case you get hungry." Meiko handed Rin and Len a couple of turkey sandwiches. Len brightened up, taking his share of sandwiches.
I can leave a trail of turkey, he thought. Or bread, I guess. Whatever. :P
As Kaito, Rin, and Len set out into the woods, Len stopped every few feet, dropping a bit of bread.
"Len, hurry up!" Rin called.
Len scowled. "I'm coming, gosh!"
"Now, children," Kaito said, "I'm going to gather some berries. Since they're near poison ivy, I don't want you to come with me. Please stay here."
And Kaito left, leaving Rin and Len in the woods, all alone.
"Ni-nii-san?" Rin whispered after an hour. "Are you coming back?"
"No worries!" Len exclaimed. "Loo--" He stopped, staring at his trail. A squirrel-- a pink squirrel(Luka)!-- was eating his bread crumbs! "MY TRAIL! SCREW YOU LUKA!!!!!!!!!!!" Len screamed.
"What are we going to do now?" Rin sobbed.
"Let's see if we can find help." Len took Rin by the hand and pulled her deeper into the forest.
After a long time of searching, Rin and Len finally stumbled upon a peculiar house. It was made of candy!
"OMG CANDY," Rin cried, grabbing an orange lollipop, licking it gleefully.(Glee!)
Len tensed. "Rin, we shouldn't be going around eating people's houses... let's see if we can find an actual house..."
"But Len! I'm so tired! Let's rest here for now!" Rin protested.
He sighed. "Fine." The twins entered the candy house and looked around.
"Aren't you hungry?" Rin asked, munching on a gumdrop.
"I-I guess I am... but I don't want to eat candy." Len looked down, blushing.
"How about eating this..................... BANANA FLAVORED lollipop?"
"OMG WHERE?"
Rin laughed and pointed to a yellow lollipop. Len grabbed it and stuck it in his mouth.
"Now.......... what was that about not eating other people's houses?" Rin laughed.

A Little Story(Pt. 1)
Once upon a time, there were two little children named Rin and Len Kagamine. They had a very modest father named Kaito Shion, and a wicked stepmother named Meiko Sakine(their former, nice, mother was named Miku Hatsune). Len, a curious and loving boy, attempted to respect Sakine-san. Rin, an arrogant and stuck-up girl, ignored her new mother and played with Len instead.
Meiko, who hated her children, decided they should be gone. She told Kaito to get rid of them or she wouldn't love him anymore. Kaito, who was quite in love with Meiko(...how?), reluctantly gave in and decided to lose them in the forest the next day.
When he should have been sleeping, Len had heard the whole conversation, and slipped outside to collect some shining yellow pebbles(which represent him!!!).
The next day, Kaito led the two children to saunter into the woods to chop down some trees. Len remembered what Meiko had said last night, and he pocketed the pebbles, dropping one every few steps.
"I'm going to see if there are any other types of trees," Kaito said nervously. "You two stay here." He walked away, leaving Rin and Len in the forest all alone(DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN!!).
Night came, and Rin was shivering. "When will Kaito-nii be back?" she cried.
Len peered around, and saw his gleaming yellow pebbles in the moonlight. "Rin-chan," he said, "let's go home!"
Rin and Len ran back, following the trail of rocks(Rocks rock), all the way back to the little cottage they lived in.
"Kaito-nii, Meiko-san, we're back!" Rin gasped as she collapsed into the living room. "I think we might have gotten lost!"

Sweethearts
This is a review for Sweethearts by Sara Zarr. I give this book a 4 out of 5. Why? Because I judge heavily on beginning, middle and end.
The end sucked.
Anyways, review!
After I finished this book, I thought it was very similar to James Patterson's novel, Sundays at Tiffany's.
The main character in Sweethearts is Jennifer (Jenna) Harris. She used to be a ugly, fat little girl and had one friend. Then, she moved and everything changed. Jennifer changed her name (so she wouldn't be called "Fattifer") to Jenna and became one of the populars (because their table was closest to the door. :P). Her life changes even more on her seventeenth birthday, when her only friend back when she was little appears in her life again. Cameron, Jenna's old friend, comes to her school. Things get difficult. Ethan, Jenna's boyfriend, thinks she's cheating on him and dating Cameron. Jenna's buddy Katy doesn't hang with Jenna often.
...similarities (left is Sweethearts, right is Sundays at Tiffany's):
Jenna/Jane- After many years of isolation and despair, these two characters find their old friend and bond with them again. Things become crazy, but together, Jenna and Cameron, and Jane and Michael go through the challenges.
Ethan/Hugh- The boyfriends. :P Both of these boys were the boyfriends of the main characters. Though they were couples, Ethan and Hugh treated Jenn and Jane like trash once Cameron and Michael came in their life. *doesn't feel like talking about them anymore*
Yeah... well, there's a few characters in Sundays at Tiffany's, so there aren't many similarities. :P

Larry, this guy in my class, brought in like these dumplings(you Chinese people out there, he brought Bao Zi.)
My teacher asked what was in it(there were two kinds).
He first said pork and cabbage... then hesitated on the red bean one. I whispered, "Hong Dou." which is red bean in Chinese.
Larry accidentally said "Hong Dou" out loud to the whole class.

Okay, here's the Fang/Max bits for The Final Warning by James Patterson. (Yes, that's a link!)
Here it goes... *flips through pages* (And just saying, there's not a lot.)
And since I had a sneak peek of MAX in my copy of Saving the World..., I will post the bits I found there.

- "You okay?" Fang said.
- He smiled unexpectedly, and my heart gave a little squeeze. "Because we can."
- "And I wasn't thrilled about you and Sam, the possible traitor, also back at Virginia."
- True. Seeing Fang kissing the Red-Haired Wonder had sent acid churning through my gut.
- "What?" I asked, just as his head swooped in and his mouth touched mine. I tried to speak, but one of Fang's hands held the back of my head, and he kept his lips pressed against me, kissing me softly but with a Fanglike determination.
- It was incredible. I loved it. I loved him.
- Fang was watching me. We still hadn't talked about the Incident of the previous night.
- "I need some air," I managed to get out between swallows.
- And lately, he'd kissed me a couple times.
- "About what? You and me? There is no you and me! Especially when you keep throwing yourself at everything in a skirt!"
- There was that name again. (Brigid)
- His eyes glued to Brigid, his face friendly and unforbidding. I felt my stomach twist, which made me madder at myself than I was at him.
- Leaving me with only Fang's adorationg of Brigid Dwyer to really get stuck in my craw.
- "I'm gonna barf," I whispered to Fang, wiping my sweaty hands on my jeans. "You'll be fine," he whispered back. "You always are." "I'm gonna die," I moaned. "You can't die," he said, a hint of a smile in his voice. "You're the indestructible Max."

Rant rant rant!
I'm reading The Final Warning now!
I will add the FangXMax bits... later... when I finish the book.
Anyways, I made a rant. About the Fang/Brigid thing. And yes, it does involve cussing with asterisks(*).
Reading The Final Warning by James Patterson... it's really really boring, but I still wanna read it.
I hate Fang right now. I hate Brigid, from the second Jenn wrote, "Fang meets Brigid." in her "flat-out summary". I mean, who else could like Max besides Fang? Idiots.

Gosh. I'm so pissed off at him. And that a** Brigid. She's SEVEN years older than that-- now a b*tch of a-- Fang. I thought Fang, you would have better taste in women.
Max: She's smart, she's brave, she's dedicated into saving the world(which Fang objects to!), she wants to help people(which Angel is against!), she is SAVING THE WORLD and she's hot! Gosh!

- That guy Sam asked me out on a date. [*Blah blah blah blah blah* I'm gonna skip to the end.] "Don't know," I muttered, my face getting hot. And did you notice who didn't say one word? Right.
- "So you like him. I don't have to kill him." His voice was tense.
- "Thanks," I told Fang in a broken voice.He stood up, then smoothed my hair with his hand."You're fine," he said quietly.
- His dark eyes met mine and his face flushed.
- "You almost gave me a heart attack," he said quietly. "When I saw you, and all the blood..."
- Not amused, I glanced over at Fang. He smiled, lighting up our immediate area and offered me Cracker Jack.
- He turned to me and grinned, making my world brighter. "She offered to cook breakfast."
